Heja Analytics crew,
Wikimedia Bugzilla has an "analytics" keyword (apart from the Analytics product). See https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/buglist.cgi?keywords=analytics for its 67 open tickets currently.
As we're slowly planning for the post-Bugzilla shiny new Phabricator world: Does anybody actually ever look at tickets with that keyword, or can we realistically just drop it (if nobody ever does)?
Thank you, andre
It looks to me like people are using the "analytics" keyword to basically "cross-post" bugs from other components. I wasn't aware of it and in my opinion I'd rather some analytics people be cc-ed on the bug rather than the keyword. Let's do it this way: if anyone disagrees, speak up. If nobody speaks up by Monday, July 21st, let's get rid of it.

Alright, updated http://fab.wmflabs.org/T423 to state that we will get rid of that keyword.

Can you define "get rid of"? I suppose the tickets will still be added to some analytics project? (Is there documentation on how one will be able to tag tickets in Phabricator?)

Drop the keyword from those tickets when migrating Bugzilla keywords to Phabricator projects.

Currently not planned. We could add those ~24 items to the future Phabricator project that is now "Analytics > General/Unknown" in Bugzilla if anybody of the Analytics folks explicitly wants this and if folks think that this does not clutter the list of tasks.
(Is there documentation on how one will be able to tag tickets in Phabricator?)
(Note: Might be offtopic for this mailing list) What's the usecase of "tagging"? (Note that Bugzilla has made it complicated with stuff like keywords, whiteboard and tags.)
Some relevant Bugzilla keywords will be converted into Phabricator projects, some irrelevant ones will be dropped.
