Heya,
We would like to turn off the production version of UMAPI that is running on stat1001 and accessible through metrics.wikimedia.org
As far as I know, everybody who use UMAPI on stat1001 also can access the instance on stat1 (using the SSH tunnel).
If you are using UMAPI on metrics.wikimedia.org and do not have rights to access UMAPI on stat1 then please let me know. We plan to switch it off by the end of this week.

That works for me, as long as we can count on Andrew for ongoing support with stat1, which is now the sole instance that we can use for data analysis in Product.

Works for me.
If we're doing this, is there any reason we can't point metrics.wikimedia.org to WikiMetrics, even as a redirect?

We could but I would rather not do that: the labs instance should become the staging env. while stat1001 will become the production env. We will have to test the prod setup as well and a redirect makes that a bit hard :)
