Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask how I have to proceed to be able to connect to
wikidata.org from a java program running on stat1002.eqiad.wmnet. I am
specifically acessing the example queries for query.wikidata.org to
check the logs for occurences.
Greetings,
Adrian
Hello everyone,
I have a problem on stat1002.eqiad.wmnet using
https://github.com/Wikidata/QueryAnalysis/blob/master/tools/hourlyFieldValu…
on two files (1.1 GB and 2.4 GB respectively); the processed ends with
Killed.
My guess is that my script uses too much memory. However, it was my
understanding that csv.DictReader reads line-by-line, so the file sizes
should not matter.
If anyone can tell me why my script is taking up so much memory or if
there is any other reason for the script getting killed I'd be grateful.
Greetings,
Adrian
Hi,
I am working on the pagecounts data for a project and I have noticed
that data for the period September, 21st - September 30th, 2009 are
missing.[1]
However I also found that some data for that period are avialable from
The Internet Archive[2].
I see also that somehow at https://stats.grok.se there are some data
available (see for example the page view data for"Influenza" on en.wiki[3]).
So, my question is: are there issues with using the data from the IA? I
checked that besides for a difference for the file
pagecounts-20090921-160000.gz which seems incomplete on
dumps.wikimedia.org the rest of the files are the same.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cristian

Hi all,
This downtime isn’t happening today after all. Ops is busy switching
datacenters again, so we need to find another time. I’ll send another email
when we know when that is.
