Thanks for this update, Jami.
The extension is really wonderful btw; thanks to everyone working on it. It makes both getting a snapshot and explaining what's happening to others much easier. All it needs now is a way to filter up a measure of activity to that top-level snapshot.

Hi, Ambassadors!
I've been looking through the new Education Extension[1] to see how things are going so far this semester, and it looks like some professors are still learning the ropes (as we all are!). There are quite a few classes whose students have not yet enrolled on the Course Pages, so please do encourage any professor you are working with to have them "enroll" as soon as possible. This will help us all monitor their contributions, provide feedback, and keep up with the work our awesome students are doing on Wikipedia! On that note, please do make sure your classes have a Course Page in general!
There are also still some classes without Online Ambassadors (unless you have not signed on to the class yet), so I made a list of those (see below). If you still have the capacity to work with a class or two this semester and are interested in any of these classes, please sign on :)! If the professor is unresponsive on-wiki (or if you prefer communicating via email), please email me for the correct contact information!
Don't forget: if you still haven't added yourself to the list of Campus Ambassadors or Online Ambassadors, please add your request to this user right request page[2] and then create your relevant profile[3][4]. This should help us create a permanent database of all of our program participants, which will be very useful down the line.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys have already been doing this semester! I've seen a ton of your welcome messages, guidance, and support all over our students' talk pages and sandboxes! If anyone has any questions, class updates, concerns, exciting news, or anything else to discuss, don't forget that you can post to this mailing list! Also, if you have some awesome student work you'd like to profile, please remember to update the Trophy Case[5]!
Thanks, all! Jami

Classes looking for Online Ambassadors: "Developmental Biology", Boston University, Professor Laura Hake "Discover New York", St. John's University, Professor Ben Turner "Global Enterprise and Sustainable Development", University of Michigan, Professor Ming Xu "Globalization and Peace" , McMaster University, Professor Nancy Doubleday "History of Psychology", Ball State University, Professor David Perkins "Information Fluency in the Digital World," California Maritime Academy, Professor Michele VanHoeck "Intercultural Communication," Millersville University of Pennsylvania, Professor Lisa Schreiber "Islamic Jurisprudence," Colgate University, Professor Aisha Musa "Personality," Pepperdine University, Professor Steve Rouse "Social Work Practice with Community and Social Systems," University of Michigan, Professor Desmond Patton "Technical Writing", Clemson University, Professor Trish Fancher "Women in Medieval Culture and Society", University of Maryland, Professor Janna Bianchini
TL;DR:
- Some classes still need Course Pages; many Course Pages still need
enrolled students. 2. Please check out the list of classes looking for an OA and sign on if available. 3. Don't forget to create an Ambassador profile, add any great work to the Trophy Case, and continue being as awesome as you all are!
