Its been really exciting on the journey we have started and we are super glad about the excitement around the project. As stated during the trainings we have 2 months to show that a community for developers can exist on the continent or better, have come to stay!
Ghana was a pilot and it showed much prospects, however there are other African countries ready to take on the challenge. We encourage you to share the project with your friends from other countries who may be interested and to members on this mailing list who are from other African countries and are interested in having a similar event, please put down your interest here on this page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/African_Wikimedia_Developers_Project/Request_by_Country .
We will soon furnish the workboard with featured tasks and we encourage you to challenge yourselves to these tasks. Ask for help when you are stuck, on any of the developers channels on IRC or on this mailing list.
