Hello Everyone!
Hoping we're all doing great? As part of making sure there is a strong reliability and support to developers across the entire Wikimedia movement, WMF has made available a platform meant to support new developers to connect and ask their questions and get the entire communities response about it. The link to this platform can be access via: https://discourse- mediawiki.wmflabs.org/.
As a (new) developer, there is need for a place where questions can be asked and answered and also the answers are kept so that others can refer to it at some point in the future. On IRC, for example, after a question is answered, it's gone and can be only reached via the logs which is quite tedious. So with a platform like this to curate a list of so many questions asked and answers (of various types) kept for future inference, it's just wonderful and please let's to make use of this platform to clear our Wikimedia software engineering doubts once and for all.
I urge you all to ask your questions when you are stuck on this platform, this will go a long way to boost your performance and speed/reliability to get answers to questions ASAP.
Thanks very much and have a nice day! :)
