I have just sent messages to those who will participate in the 45th
reunion. I have had a couple of bounces. Alice Gordon and Claire
Szabo. Donno why since I have been writing them all summer. Hope the
rest of you received the brief message.
Doc
Can we get a little help from the Reunion crowds: Jayne and I are trying to remember the years we did Reunion plays. (I can't remember if I was there in 1995 or 2000, for example.) To assist our feeble brains, what were the plays for the following Reunion summers:
1990 - 1995 - 2000 - 2005 - scenes: starring Joy Howard as Juliet2010 - scenes: starring Craig Hurwitz as Falstaff
One of those years was Comedy of Errors. I was there for that. Another was Midsummers? (I was not there for that.)
Wait, why did I come into this room?

Dear folks,
Some of you have received messages saying you've been blocked from the
Winedale mailing list due to "bounces" based on messages that are
originating from your email accounts. There are a couple of possible
causes for this, but what I've done in the interim is go back through
the Winedale-L mailing list and disable all the blocks based on
bounces. Please let me know if you get further error messages, and
keep in mind that we're hoping to completely transition (more or less)
from the Winedale-L mailing list (hosted by Wikimedia) to the
Shakespeare-at-Winedale list hosted through Google Groups (by, I hope,
the end of the year).
Also, this being mid-2014 ... if you are in contact with a
Shakespeare-at-Winedale alum who you think isn't on our list but
should be, please notify me and David Ziegler and give us the person's
email address so we can add him or her in.
Just over four years ago we really scrambled in our outreach in
advance of the 40th-year reunion -- this time, in advance of the 45th,
we have time to reach people we missed. But we need your help to find
those people and ask them if they want to be included.
Note: as we negotiate this transition, we may find that we add people
to the new list in ways that cause problems for them (for example, if
someone is receiving a digest version on the old list, he or she may
be receiving every single message as it's sent on the new list).
Sometimes you can fix this yourself through the user interfaces, but
if you can't, please ask us for help.

Bruce Meyer reminded me a week ago that we will be celebrating 45
years of Shakespeare at Winedale next summer. He is ready to rumble.
And I am too. So how do we begin? Well, the adventure would likely
be scheduled for the first week in August, 2015, with a performance on
either Friday or Saturday, if James let's us into that. We could work
on the scenes or a play in the air-conditioned Henkel Hall in Round
Top in the mornings and then move to the Barn in the afternoons.
This time, I'm up for a play: Much Ado. 40th anniversary of our
brilliant performance in '75, dedicated to Miss Ima.
Your thoughts, suggestions, availability, commitment?
Cheers,
Doc
Tarissa Day (nee Troell) reporting for duty, fun, hijinks - August 2015 will be legendary!
