It should be mentioned in one sentence in the newsletter, even if it has
little influence on most readers and editors. It does have rather major
influence on translators, however.

Should this perhaps go into the tech newsletter (I couldn't find it in
the last five)?
I'm not sure it's of much interest to many people reading this list –
especially as the i18n progress for the APIs is still so early that they
aren't going to be as well translated as users should expect. Perhaps we
could do it as a "by the way" note?
