I think the library is a good place to meet. It is near transit and
parking is available within a few blocks. I did not attend the meet up
in the presidio because it was so far from BART. I live in Oakland,
ride a bicycle, don't own a car and carshare is a little pricey to use
for a hobby.

Because the public library is surrounded by -- and full of --
bums, at all hours of the day. One time, I came inside and
there were human feces on the steps.
The tragedy of the commons in San Francisco is that if it's
free and has a bathroom, it's full of bums.
