Now that I have power for my laptop again *cough*, I'd just like to
shout out a thanks and congratulations to everybody who made it for the
meetup Saturday.
I know it was short notice and not the easiest location to get to, but I
think we all had a good time, there was some great discussion, and it
was a really great chance both to see some of the Internet Archive's
cool gadgets and to show off some Wikipedians to the camera. :)
And let's all give a thanks to IA for graciously hosting us at the last
minute!
The current thought is that we'll try to set something up at the San
Francisco Public Library main branch for most future meetings -- closer
to the center of town near bus and rail lines, it'll be much easier for
both in-town commuters and BARTers.
I'd recommend we try to organize a relatively regular monthly meet; not
everybody's going to be able to make it every time, so making them more
frequent and with more warning should make it easier to get something
going for most people most of the time. :)
