Dear Emanuel,
Thank you for your expression of interest. I do intend to support WP-MIRROR.
Thank you also for your bug report. So far, I have been unable to
reproduce your bug. However, I did notice that your command was:
$./wp-mirror-0.2.lisp
I assume that the `wp-mirror-0.2.lisp' means that WP-MIRROR was not
installed using `make install'. Did you try that and did it fail? If
it has installed correctly, then you would have issued:
You were right, I did not install it. But now it dies with the same
error during the install process
$ sudo make install
./wp-mirror-0.2.lisp --changelog > changelog
*** - Lisp stack overflow. RESET
make: *** [wp-mirror] Error 1
$ whereis wp-mirror
wp-mirror:
... same without sudo (but as root).
# wp-mirror
I also assume that the `$' means that you were not logged in as
`root'. Both installation and operation must be done using `root' (or
perhaps `sudo' which I have not tried).
the $ is simply there to signalize the shell prompt.
I recognize that the installation process is the weak
point of version
0.2, and built in a great number of asserts and error messages in the
hopes of anticipating such problems. So I very much appreciate that
you brought this bug to my attention.
ulimit -a gives me:
stack size (kbytes, -s) 8192
Hope you can fix it, tell me if you need more debug information.
Regards
Emmanuel
