Thank you for your interest and effort on wikimedia video :) Its a
really nice set of historic clips you have added. We should think about
how to better mobalize foulks to add these clips to varius languages.
Maybe a "video ambassador" per language wiki to help point out added
video collections to the various per wiki-content folks.

See bug: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26663 the last
comment in that bug highlights some examples:

+ theornamentalist who filed the original bug.

The feature was already deployed to the gadget. And I am also adding it
to the TimedMediaHandler extension which support 'being on by default'
and a bunch of other stuff too.. watch the wikivideo list for a preview
in the near future.

Using one file instead of lots of chunks, makes life easier in that you
have one transcript and one source video that can be segmented per embed
context rather then lots of bits and pieces floating around.

If we use the feature as it exist right now through a template we can
update to the new embed syntax once the extension is deployed and if a
small wiki, some have turned on the video gadget by default, but of
course its more ideal to get the extension reviewed and deployed.

Sounds great, keep us updated on how that goes and feel free to ping
this list, our GLAM fellow, Liam Wyattr, and or me for support in
realising productive cooperation :)
