No, it doesn't. They remain fully readable, and the page history is
still available in the normal way. The only difference is that people
will be unable to edit. They will see a message like this one if they
do try to edit:
This wiki was locked on November 6 as only one page had ever been created.
It will be unlocked if there is interest in reopening it.
If you would like to create articles in the Bashkir language, please
see how to start a new Wikipedia and then ask a steward to unlock the
database at requests for permissions.
