[Wikipedia-l] How idiot-proofed is the 'move' feature?

Does it give you any warning if you try to replace a current page when
you rename another one with the same title? Or does it just quietly
overwrite it? If so, then it's a very dangerous feature to have
available to the general public... 

It needs to either refuse to perform the operation if the name is
duplicated, or to give you a warning 'You are over-writing X page, do
you wish to continue?' Yes 'Are you SURE you wish to continue?'
