Hi,
I'm one of the administrators and accredited reported on Wikinews. We've
just unearthed a problem with one of our stories being plagiarized from
another source. Unfortunately, you've mirrored it.
Your version is at
http://www.ecanadanow.com/us/2007/04/18/candle-light-vigil-for-victims-of-vi
rginia-tech-shootings/
Our version at
http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Candlelight_vigil_for_victims_of_Virginia_Tech_s
hootings will be deleted.
And for comparison, http://www.wtol.com/Global/story.asp?S=6385852 the
original.
Regrettably, this is one of the risks when allowing editing by anyone. The
contributor responsible is new, and the problems he has caused will be
explained to him. My apologies we didn't catch this before you copied our
story, we appreciate having mirrors that expose our material in Google News.
Regards,
Brian McNeil
