Once Mediawiki has it's proposed API fully implemented

interesting things indeed. Currently about the most advanced tool
available are Navigation popups

from that there's CategoryTree
<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/CategoryTree>. I believe that there
might also be some Greasemonkey scripts around which do some interesting
things, but I haven't looked into them much.
