The WMF budget for 2012-2013 was reviewed by FDC in Round 1 in October 
2012. It was a rather confusing and unsatisfactory exercise as the 
budget was already approved by the Board. But with the decision on 
"narrowed focus", made two days before our meeting, we could anyway give 
some type  of "blessing" of the budget (but not with full consensus - 
the only case as yet).

In our meeting for Round 2 in April this year we had not received any 
proposal from WMF, and we had two special sessions re WMF and FDC, first 
with Sue and part of the Board and the other just FDC with  Garfield 
supporting us with numbers etc. Neither of us in FDC, WMF or the Board 
saw any use of repeating the review of WMF budget in Round 1, as we did 
last year, and we agreed instead to get process in place for a a proper 
review/dissemination in Round 2 for the budget of 2014-2015. And FDC has 
since then stated some basic thoughts what this should look like.

This means FDC will do no reviews of dissemination of the 2013-2014 
budget for WMF. Also to remember we have an extreme tight schedule for 
the upcoming round with 15-16 applicants with no extra time to spare.
