Hi James,

Ok then the request is, that wikipedia and the foundation do the same.
Parallel to wikia.com & Amazon.
Get rid of the wikiasaria term and find a new one, e.g. "wiki-search.org",
"wiki-suche.de" and so on.
Besides that, the idea is as well still open to have next to the wikipedia search box a search box for yacy and with this a search for external internet links. Support yacy from the wikipedia, and distribute the p2p nodes over the buddylist cspace, as well with the brand wikipedia.
Both applications are in the hand of the users, as they are open and p2p decentral.

Both correlate to the mission, vision and first sentences of the foundation:

quote:

The mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.

In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework for the support and development of multilingual wiki projects and other endeavors which serve this mission. The Foundation will make and keep useful information from its projects available on the Internet free of charge, in perpetuity.

Kind regards.
