Hey all,
We just published "Get help editing Wikipedia with the new “Co-op”
mentorship program" to the blog. URL:
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/07/30/edit-wikipedia-co-op-mentorship/
Many thanks to I JethroBot for this post.
Below are some proposed social media messages. Please tweak as needed.
*Twitter (@wikipedia/@wikimedia):*
• Newer editors can now be automatically matched to mentors with the
Co-op
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/07/30/edit-wikipedia-co-op-mentorship/
I think this would work and so happy to see it go out. Personally I'd add
a
qualifier to Co-op just to call out 'where' the co-op is. Perhaps:
- Newer editors can now be automatically matched to mentors with the
English @Wikipedia <https://twitter.com/Wikipedia> Co-op
https://blog.wikimedia.org/2015/07/30/edit-wikipedia-co-op-mentorship/
- Perhaps only link on the @wikimedia post, if we tweet directly from
@wikipedia (rather then retweet) drop the @ so we're not linking ourselves?
*Facebook/Google+:*
• Check out and help support the Co-op, a new
mentorship space that
automatically matches newer editors to mentors to help them contribute to
and improve Wikipedia.

This one LGTM, not sure adding the English before Wikipedia is necessary.
The blog post calls it out.
