Yes :) and use it (I also know that some in comms do ) however the desire is for something integrated into the wiki so that we can use logging and wiki userrights. Tweet deck can be great for an internal team, less so for a more spread out one.

Hi James, have you looked at Tweetdeck?

I've had a dream since I was in comms about creating an extension that would not only let us accept tweet suggestions but also let us give a user right out for people (community members and staff) to tweet through the wiki in a logged fashion without having to know the password.
This isn't a crazy difficult extension (as in I could write it) but always required either A. Me to have time, B. Tech resources or C. Someone else to get excited and do it. A suffers from the traditional "sometime between '48 hours of non stop work' starting tonight and 'eventually when I find the time....' Timeline that my side projects have given work requirements/other priorities, B has always been tough and C .. Honestly I don't think we pushed it enough to fully test C out.

That sounds like a great idea. Is there an app that can handle tweet suggestions from external users? Meta is probably a good tool for this if there's no such app.

In Juliet and I's 1v1, we discussed setting up a page where Wikimedians could propose content and social messages that we could then post on our feeds.
So, for example, if I wrote yet another article on a battleship, I could come up with an unusual fact and propose that we feature it on @Wikipedia, etc.
Thoughts?

This seems like something we could (should?) be doing more often I think. Thanks Michael for getting these out.

Hi Katherine,
We shared the tetris effect, by the looks of the comments, it is resonating (I also thought it would be suitable for Twitter and G+):
