[Mediawiki-l] On hands help with backup, new installation, and restore

This is very easy and well documented on the mediawiki.org site. Start with
testing your ability to create a backup and import it into a new wiki. Once
you see how easy that is you'll be more comfortable following the rest of
the instructions.
