[Mediawiki-l] Moved to LDAP, now what for existing users

We have updated our wiki to use LDAP and it works great.  

 

My question is .. What do I do with all existing User Ids?  Do I need to
use the Merge/Delete extension to move all of 'joes' articles to
josephj?

 

What is best practice?
