You'll need to configure MediaWiki to use SMTP via the Pear::Mail
extension. Install this (see PHP documentation on how to install from
Pear, it's not hard; often a one-liner in a command prompt) and then
copy the $wgSMTP array over from includes/DefaultSettings.php to
LocalSettings.php, and alter according to the needs of your
configuration.
