[Mediawiki-l] Using javascript within a wiki page?

The $wgAllowUserJS setting is to allow users to create subpages like
User:Name/script.js which allow them, for example, to do various tasks
on-wiki - see WP:POPUPS on Wikipedia for an example.

I don't know (personally) what to suggest, others probably have ideas :).
