update.php script to check and update the schema. This will insert missin=

tables, update existing tables, and move data around as needed. In most
cases,

this is successful and nothing further needs to be done.



I have AdminSettings.php file correctly configured.



But, as I'm trying to run this script through browser, it does not work. =
I
cannot run this script from command line because of I'm using commercial
hosting services and I don't have ssh access to my files to run them.



How do I do upgrade my database files?

You cannot use te update.php script from the web, only from the command l=
ine. For instructions on how to upgrade without shell access check:

installer

You basically have to re-run the installer while trying to preserve and r=
e-use your existing LocalSettings.php file.
