[Mediawiki-l] URGENT: Upgrade from 1.7.2 to 1.8.2 not going well...

I backed up all the files, and backed up the database.

I uploaded everything. I went to /config/

and I filled in the info.

When I clicked on the link to my wiki, there was no data. So it was  
pulling nothing from my database.

I logged in to phpMyAdmin and saw the database with the correct name  
there, only instead of (31) next to it, it had (62).

So it appears that my database got overwritten. What did I do wrong?  
Need help.
