[Mediawiki-l] where are the pages stored ?

I have mediawiki  (mediawiki-1.6.7) installed. I would like to understand

- where does the wiki store the pages I create ? I would like to create new
pages and I need to know where it stores it. I would like to configure it so
it is on a NFS location on a backed up volume.
