[Mediawiki-l] Part of a page in another page

Why couldn't you just do it manually? Cut and paste para one and change the link. Say the article you want to have in full is Dog Sitting.
So have your first para on, say, your Main Page as
blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbla hb l ahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahbl ahblahblahblahblahblah blahblahblah blahblahblah blahblahblah blahblahblah [[Dog Sitting|...click here to read more.]]

Is there a way for me to put the first paragraph in another page? It
would be kinda like you see on blogs where the first part of the
article is available, and then you click the MORE. . . link to read
the rest of the article.
