Personally, I tend to search them within my e-mail account, having
been subscribed for some months now and it being GMail and therefore
quite good at such things.

But the more general way, which I also use, is to add
"site:mail.wikimedia.org" to a Google query. Obviously, that then
searches *all* the lists, but you can always add the name of the list,
or anything else appropriate, if you really need to narrow things
down.
