[Mediawiki-l] MySql 4.1 and MediaWiki Installion

I got this while installing mediawiki :


    Checking environment...

    * PHP 4.3.8: ok
    * PHP server API is apache2handler; ok, using pretty URLs
      (index.php/Page_Title)
    * Have XML / Latin1-UTF-8 conversion support.
    * PHP's memory_limit is 8M. *If this is too low, installation may
      fail!* Attempting to raise limit to 20M... ok.
    * No zlib support.
    * Found ImageMagick: /usr/bin/convert; image thumbnailing will be
      enabled if you enable uploads.
    * Installation directory: /home/PROJETOOQCB/public_html/WIKI/mediawiki
    * Script URI path: /~PROJETOOQCB/WIKI/mediawiki
    * MySQL error 1251: Client does not support authentication protocol
      requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Something's not quite right yet; make sure everything below is filled 
out correctly.


It seems that MySql change the way password are stored.
What can I do? Come back to MySql 4.0 ?
