As far as I can tell these issues are unrelated.  -05 has all the same 
resources as -01 and should serve as a permanent replacement.

In other news, there's been a lot of crazy busy traffic on -05 that most 
likely would have crippled -01 as well.  We're ongoingly engaging with 
this particular problem.
