[Labs-l] Question concerning memcached on labs instances

When you want to install memcached on the self instance as the
MediaWiki-installation the default-group should be fine because it blocks
the port of memcached.

Hi!

I would like to configure memcached on the Wikidata instances. I read the
documentation (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Memcached) that says my box
should be firewalled so that memcached is not publicly accessible.
Is the default security group (that my instances are in) sufficient for this
as it only provides access to a few services?
Or do I have to do anything more? If so, is that documented anywhere?
