Bleh, then don't announce the hire on this list.  All I'm asking for
is who made the decision.  If it was a board decision, I'm not even
asking for the names, a simple "board resolution, passed 4 votes to 3"
would suffice.

The idea that the community plays any role whatsoever in the running
of the Wikimedia foundation is all a ruse if we can't have such basic
information.

Frankly I have no idea why this would be kept such a secret.
