Everybody has a different suggestion on the matter, and you are right that
Philadelphia is more closely linked with Trenton and Wilmington then it is
with Pittsburgh. Of course when you look at the country chapters such as
Italy, I'm sure that Venice has relatively little in common with Palermo. I
would say that the commonality of language and the diversity of culture has
a positive impact on any organization, and that's something we should be
encouraging our chapters to exploit, not to avoid.
We are going to be actively recruiting people from other places: new york,
new jersey, maryland, delaware, ohio, etc. And if we can get large enough
concentrations of people from one of these other states, we will have
provided an organizational backdrop for these people to start their own
chapter.
