Most of the terms of copyright under Australian law went up from 50 to
70 years recently following AUSFTA, the Australia-United States "Free"
Trade Agreement.

Like the conversion of certain types of copyright infringement from
civil to criminal offences. Or like the automatic increase in jail
term if the infringement involves converting something into digital
form.
