New mirror of 'other' datasets

I'm happy to announce a new mirror for datasets other than the XML dumps. This mirror comes to us courtesy of the Center for Research Computing, University of Notre Dame, and covers everything "other" [1] which includes such goodies as Wikidata entity dumps, pageview counts, titles of all files on each wiki (daily), titles of all articles of each wiki (daily), and the so-called "adds-changes" dumps, among other things. Downloading images in the Wikipedia Dump

Hello! Is there a way to tell whether an image is on the "commons" wiki or on "enwiki". Some images seem to be available on "wikipedia/commons", like so: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a9/Example.jpg and some others on "wikipedia/en" like so: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/68/Crocodile_dundee_ii_ver2.jpg Thanks in advance for your answers. Actually, it seems quite a few cryptocurrency related articles are missing. Litecoin, Ethereum, Namecoin, Dogecoin, CryptoNote, etc. Most of these articles transclude Template:Cryptocurrencies, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't appear in the XML dump.

Missing pages from XML dump?

Using the 2016-04-07 pages-articles dump as a reference: https://dumps.wikimedia.org/enwiki/20160407/enwiki-20160407-pages-articles.… It appears that the Litecoin article (ID 37395085, fetched from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Export) is missing from the referenced XML dump. The dump contains stub articles that redirect to the Litecoin article, but the Litecoin article itself is missing. I don't see anything in particular about the article that would result in it being excluded, and I was hoping someone could shed some light on the situation. Was the article excluded because of some criteria or on accident? If articles are being excluded from the XML dumps, is it possible to obtain them elsewhere? -Marcus
