I strongly support for using #wp10. Already WiKansai use it as shortcut for the party page on its own website [1] and it seems to go well.

I think it would be great if we could finalize this and begin the use of the hashtag on various fora as we announce the same. Is there also any category to upload photos on Flickr or Wikimedia Commons?

May be we should also have some pre-event hash tags also.
Just a suggestion: how about 10 w's (dots are not allowed in most cases, w from Wikipedia.) as one of the hash tags: #wwwwwwwwww

I agree. Wikipedia 10 is nice for category name, but not hashtag. Some websites, like twitter.com doesn't allow space in hashtags.
wx10 is a fun but not practical I'm afraid, specially typing in venue :)

I think #wp10 will be fantastic. And if it turns out other folks in different languages/scripts have to localize or alter that, then that's okay. Ideally everyone would include this tag as a minimum, and also add others.
