So we're working on getting the anniversary banners up as fast as possible today, but remember this isn't the fundraiser, where we have a team of more than a dozen people all working on this.
The translations that are/were on Meta have been pulled and are literally being built as we speak. If you have a translation that wasn't put on Meta or emailed to me already, then you should send it to me today.
As for how long they will run, the tentative plan is not to run them past the anniversary itself, except *maybe* geotargeted in countries that will have anniversary events after the 15th. Editors and readers alike are feeling banner fatigue right now, and we want to get the site clear of any CentralNotice banners sooner rather than later.
As always, you can see everything that has, is, or will run at the CentralNotice admin on Meta.

Since we should let the editor and reader know about that, I think we shall put up the central notice as soon as possible and it should be down on the end of January since http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:January_2011 list that except 23 January, the wikipedian still have activity so I suggest the notice should be up on today, 11-1-2010 and down on 31-1-2010 or longer.
