Chinese Wikipedia is just planning for change the logo in the mid January.
Discussion is going on in VP, and the logo is
http://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hk/File:10piece-chinese-L_k_2.svg . Chinese Wikipedia
is also using JavaScript on common.js to use the logo stored in local but not
commons.
Some celebrate work will also be done on Chinese Wikipedia soon. Thank you.

Hi all,
A query. I went and downloaded few of the books from bookshelf
http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Bookshelf/ which we are hoping to
use in the 10th Anniversary Wikipedia celebrations being held in Pune.
Please see ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pune/
While going over/leafing over the books I couldn't find any licensing
information of the books in question. For e.g.
Evaluating_Wikipedia_article_quality_2010-11-26.pdf or
Welcome2WP_English_082310.pdf neither of them have any explicit
license attached to them.
The only info./reference I could find is the Wikimedia foundation
address on the last page. No CC licenses.
Please clarify the above.
Also please CC me as while I'm subscribed to the list but Mail
delivery is shut off.

Just a quick update on 10th anniversary merchandise...
If you sent me your shipping information and created a public listing for your event, then your order has been given to Social Imprints (our fantastic merchandise company) and will ship contingent on any issues such as customs or incomplete addresses. I currently have a batch of tracking numbers from FedEx that I will be forwarding to you individually ASAP, and will forward more on once I receive them.
For anyone organizing an event who sent me their address after January 1 or has yet to, I can still ship to you, but it will not arrive until after the 15th. I will be updating the relevant tenwiki pages to reflect this.
I've spoken with the fundraising team about getting their help on creating banners to promote 10th anniversary activities, and will be sending a separate update soon so we can talk about how best to do that.

As I updated on the ten.wikipedia, Wikimedia Israel will host a gratitude
event for Wikipedia contributors on Jan 14th:

We have 450 tickets to give to the event.
Event agenda:
- 10:30-11:30: Reception. Light refreshments, editors and volunteers
meet-up, and many surprises!
- 11:30-14:00: Opening Remarks, and pre-premiere screening of the film
"King's speech".
Lev Cinema Tel aviv will sponsor the movie, and we (thanks to the help from
foundation) will pay for the others stuff (food, drinks, posters and act).
We opened the registration yesterday:

150 dual tickets will be given to Wikimedia movement editors who edit at
least 5 times every month for last 3 months.
Other personal tickets will be given to users who will register on the
