I invite you to join us on Sunday August 23, at 1PM New York, 5PM UTC, 7PM Berlin.

We'll also follow-up on points from Wikispore Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q75Fv7Snc_w https://wikispore.wmflabs.org/wiki/Wikispore_Day
Note that this meeting is 1pm New York time, not 3pm New York time as most previous meetings have been.

Is there a recording of this Sunday's meeting? Unfortunately I couldn't join due to personal commitments, but I am very interested in hearing thoughts on the new project process.

One line summary I think is: Not there yet and should aim at sorting content, meta organization, have at least 100 supporters...

Ah, so it was about Wikispore's path to a new project, not about the process for new projects in general?

We focused on both I think, though we don't have recordings of these meetings.
There was some thought to the process of a project that grows within Wikispore, from first getting a namespace, to possibly at a later stage getting its own wiki as part of the Wikispore subfarm (which current has two wikis, Wikispore main and Wikispore test).
In particular, WikiJournal was interested in this kind of arrangement.
And we might give more through to how the project "ladder" works from the initial idea to full sister project.
Thanks, Richard (User:Pharos)
