Browsing Wikispore for the first time, I was interested that an Art
Spore was highlighted on the front page. However it is no more than a
brief propositional description.
Trying to give some thought to what might be the possibilities of this
project, I placed some scoping thoughts on the Talk page:
https://wikispore.wmflabs.org/wiki/Talk:Art_Spore
I am not sure how active this mailing list is, but, either here or on
that Talk page, I would be interested to find whether my scoping
thoughts are consistent with what is envisaged for that Spore, whether
people have other artefacts which might help build towards some content
there, etc.
Dear All -
As some of you know I am co-developing Civil Society Spore and now
wanna push it locally in Croatia with a pilot experimental project
Civil Society wiki mapping arches and ideally use Wikidata ad
Wikispore.
I feel it is urgent with the situation in Croatian Wikipedia even if
it gets cleaned from most
toxic admins (again on Meta frontpage 14 November:RfC: Global ban for
Kubura), we need to counterbalance a decade of suppression.
We will try to get sociologist and pioneering peace activist Vesna
Jankovic (fast learning Wiki enthusiast) to become WiR in a very
prominent NGO in the region www.Documenta.hr *(that uses MediaWiki
software internally!). We work a bit against the odds as there is no
local affiliate, so we can only apply for RapidGrants + she has no
Wikimedian reputation, but we submit it as a team of 4 people. I would
love to hear your inputs in the plans.
If you like it feel free to endorse - please do so in next days

I would like to invite everyone to join the new Wikispore channel on
Wikimedia Chat, which is a Slack-like platform we can use for informal text
conversations and brainstorming in-between meetings:

Started some discussion on STARDIT there now.
Thanks,
Richard
