On it.wiki there's the habit of prepending many articles with a "lead section quotation", usually an epigraph of the apology/manifesto sort on the topic of the article. Two examples, apologies Italian constitution and Beethoven: https://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ludwig_van_Beethoven&oldid=57246113 https://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Costituzione_della_Repubblica_Italiana&oldid=57822420 (about ten thousand articles in total, usually the most visible ones).
Are you aware of other encyclopedias or Wikipedias with this interesting habit? I saw en.wiki doesn't know such a thing and I've been unable to find comparisons.
