I hope this email finds you well. We are reaching out to continue our conversation regarding WikiConference India 2025. During the recent South Asia Open Community Call, a few of our previous WCI core team members initiated discussions for the next iteration of WCI. We have received interest from a few volunteers who are eager to be part of the next WCI. Some volunteers expressed their interest via email, while a couple of Wikimedians indicated their willingness to support the conference as part of organizing team during the South Asia Open Community Call.

The Centre for Internet & Society - Access to Knowledge (CIS-A2K) has expressed interest in leading and supporting the WikiConference India 2025. CIS-A2K is prepared to take on the responsibility of organising this national conference and supporting volunteers' participation.

We invite all the members of the South Asian Wiki communities to fill out the Community Engagement Survey form and share your opinions and suggestions for the proposal and planning of the WCI 2025. Your feedback is crucial in determining the feasibility and direction of the upcoming conference. Please find the form link below:

The deadline for submitting the form is August 19, 2024. With your input, we aim to finalise our plans and prepare the proposal for WCI 2025 shortly thereafter.
