Dear community members,
The Invest in Skill and Leadership Development https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Recommendations/Invest_in_Skills_and_Leadership_Development Movement Strategy recommendation indicates that our movement needs a globally coordinated effort to succeed in leadership development.
The Community Development team https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Development is supporting the creation of a global and community-driven Leadership Development Task Force https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Leadership_Development_Task_Force (Purpose & Structure https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Leadership_Development_Task_Force/Purpose_and_Structure). The purpose of the task force is to advise leadership development work.
The team seeks community feedback on what could be the responsibilities of the task force. Also, if any community member wishes to be a part of the 12-member task force, kindly reach out to us. The feedback period is until 25 February 2022.
