Hello everyone,
As per the general feedback received in the last meeting (December), it is
preferable to have bi-monthly meetings about various agendas. Therefore,
for the first meeting of 2022, Biplab & I will co-host the conversation
around the upcoming Board of Trustee elections for which a “Call for
Feedback” has been announced. [1]
Few seats will be open for election this year and the Board of Trustees
wishes to know your opinion about:
1.
What is the best way to ensure more diverse representation among elected
candidates?
2.
What are the expectations for the candidates during the election?
A 3rd question will be added.
I firmly believe & I hope you will agree as well that community
participation is important in governance discussions especially as the
outcome impacts the community 100%, I encourage you to attend the meeting
with us.
Also, I would further like to receive details about members who have
contributed to the NE / MAI / DTY projects extensively so that we could
write about them on the Diff blog. [2]
