Hello.
At Hindi wiki, we started a project on Indian Elections-[[:hi:वि:विभाचु]]. we are systematically creating all lok sabha n vidhan sabha pages. we are collecting data and arranging them systematically in excel sheets. Excel Sheets and AWB scripts are placed at project page (in both english n hindi). We wish all language would take benefit from work done by us. Punjabi wiki has also joined us and already helped us in return too. we wish all wikis could run this project and prepare Excel Data n AWB Script for each region and share with each other. e.g. for upcoming Maharashtra Elections Marathi Wiki may take the lead.
Presently complete data is available at hiwiki for Himachal and Uttarakhand assemblies. I checked and found that these pages are not yet available even on English wiki. (at last n at least, something where hiwiki has taken lead :-) ). Anyone having AWB rights on enwiki may please take this foward.

I hereby once again invite all to participate in this project. Also, on hiwiki, the main person who stared this project is a little inactive presently. I would be thankful if anyone of you can help us on Hindi Wiki also.
Thanks and Regards.
Manoj Khurana.

Hi. I'm more active on Hindi Wikipedia. My observation is that many people
who come from english wiki to local wikis tend to enforce quality too much.
Its like forcing diet of a body builder upon a kid. This takes toll on new
contributors who do have good intentions and may be groomed. Keeping in
view the life-cycle thing, we have to compromise a little on quality till a
critical mass is reached and  enforce the quality slowly and steadily.

I've been here for last one year and i think hindi wiki is showing a steady
growing trend.
As far as new tech like tablets, smartphones are concerned, i feel they are
helpful as local language typing apps are more easy to operate on tablets
etc than on a pc.
Regards.
Manoj.

Why you are annoying others with these mails. No one is interested to know
who is Bishakha Dutta.

Dear Moksh!
You have a 3 months baby which means you were already execpting a child a
year ago. It was not a natural calaminity or something like that which
occured suddenly. Having 3 months old baby is just a fake reason behind
your resignation. I haven't seen any work or activity done by you or your
EC in your tenure till date.

Regards,
Jayantilal.

Hi,

I meant that a few community members have been nominated by fellow community members. This has happened without the said community member knowing about it and that said nomination did not happened within language community wikis.

Warm regards,
Pradeep Mohandas

The current messup has happened because of absolutely no response from
the EC to any members and/or community on any of the
forums-wiki/mailing list etc. Whatever you are telling about abstaing
from discussions is just a continuation of the same.

The wiki page about the new members of the EC was created just
yesterday and as Pradeep rightly pointed out, new members were
mentioned as delegates on the consultation page much earlier. Are you
hiding something here?

IIRC, there was a resolution earlier stating that all kind of
decisions taken by EC are to be made public. That has not been
followed for quite a long time. At least from the time I have asking
for updates. Can you please check the internal wiki and find that
resolution and work accordingly.

Please note that even though this mail is addressed to you, it is
meant for all in the EC. In one of the mails you had mentioned that
you will not respond to any mails other than directing to you. Thats
why this communication is addressed to you in a hope that at least one
person will read and act on it.

Regards
-Sudhanwa
