I would like to extend my congratulations to the new Egypt Wikimedians User Group! I am the communications associate at the Wikimedia Foundation and am largely in charge of the Wikimediablog https://blog.wikimedia.org/. I was hoping to find someone within the Egypt chapter who might be interested in writing a short blog post regarding the recent approval from the affiliations committee.
It is the aim of the Wikimedia blog to keep the wider Wikimedia community informed of important developments – I feel that the recent approval of the Egypt user group would make a nice post. Thank you, and I hope to hear back soon!
