I am not planning to do this, but if anyone else is interested in setting up early on Thursday for Education Day, please let me know.

Hi Makers,
Maker Faire is just around the corner, and we hope all is going well!
You are receiving this email because you indicated you would like more information about Education Day, Maker Faire's annual preview open house for school kids from across the Bay Area. We expect over 1800 students this year. Education Day is a fantastic opportunity for Makers to interact with hundreds of kids and inspire them to become Makers in disciplines they may never have imagined.
*INFORMATION ABOUT EDUCATION DAY:* *Education Day - NEW in 2012: Moved to Thursday* Thursday, May 17th 11am - 2pm
*Setup Details: morning of Thursday, May 17th* 8:00 am - Check-in opens early for Ed Day Makers 10:45 am - You must be set up and ready
*Location* Many Makers will be able to exhibit in their weekend location. However, since Education Day happens during setup while heavy machinery is on-site, students will have limited access to the fairgrounds with some areas strictly off-limits. If your weekend exhibit is not placed in an appropriate area, we ask that participating Makers set up their exhibits in a different, safer area for Thursday. (Partial setups are fine.) After the event Thursday, you will able to move your items to your weekend location and leave them there. In the RSVP form, you may indicate your interest based on having to move or not.
*Program* Your exhibit will be one of many "stations" students will stop by during Education Day. Adult docents will lead groups to your exhibits, and each group will have at least 1-2 additional adult chaperones. If possible, please think about offering an interactive activity that students can do as they visit. We want them to make during their Maker Faire experience!
*IMPORTANT: Confirm Your Participation* Please RSVP using *THIS FORMhttp://makezine.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=6445a17f0f4864bcc9492655b&id=4403c2984f&e=3ab04a062d * to let us know whether or not you would like to participate prior to our *deadline of Monday, May 7th. **Your answer will not affect your ability to participate in Maker Faire during the weekend.*
Thanks again for all you do for Maker Faire and inspiring the next generation of Makers!
