Subject: Funding for underrepresented communities - meeting on Friday Jan 29
To: Movement Strategy 2030 <strategy2030(a)wikimedia.org>
Hello friends,
You indicated that *increased funding for underrepresented communities
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/Transit…>*
(cluster
E, initiative number 2) is a top priority for you and your community in
2021. This initiative was prioritized by many affiliates and communities
from around the world and is also a top priority for the Wikimedia
Foundation. It is key for addressing gaps and existing privileges in the
movement and for welcoming new and strengthening existing communities.

This

Bonjour,
Cordialement,
Pr Boris HANSEL

maybe with captions in English or other languages. This videos would be
added to the stream on Youtube so if you can send it in early we would
appreciate it. The pre-recorded video must be uploaded to Youtube and the
link shared with us so it could be included int the session.
A moderated Panel discussion featuring different affiliates in Africa
celebrating Wikipedia and how they have worked over the years.
