Hello, I hope this email finds you well!
I'm glad to share with you the final results of the research "Global South
Technology Survey", published in Meta as *Global Majority Wikimedia
Technology Priorities
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Global_Majority_Wikimedia_Technology_Priori…>
*
*[1]*.
As per my last communication, this document was created as a way of
investigating the Wikimedia technological infrastructure and its associated
challenges through the perspectives of the Global South communities.
We believe that your organization's perspective and input are paramount in
ensuring that the insights presented in the document accurately reflect the
diverse needs and experiences of our global community. Your support in
reviewing and endorsing the findings would bring more relevance to the
research and contribute to fostering an inclusive and equitable
environment in the Wikimedia Movement.
As we established in the timeline for this document, from April 17th until
May 2nd will be the period of internalization of the document within
organizations and also the period to place the signatures on Meta, so we
can make the official launch at Wikimedia Hackathon. So I want to extend to
you an invitation to review the published document with your organization
and your community and, *if they agree with the assessments and
conclusions, sign the document on Meta*, both as an organization and as
individuals. Instructions on how to do that are available at the bottom of
the page on Meta.
We also created a Telegram group <https://t.me/gmw_tech_priorities> [2], if
you have any questions or concerns, please send me a message!

Hello, I hope this email finds you well!
My name is Éder Porto, I am reaching out to you on behalf of the User Group
Wiki Movement Brazil as the Products and Resources manager. Our
organization, in collaboration with CIS-A2K, has conducted a research
initiative known as the *Global South Technology Survey*
<https://w.wiki/7GoG>* [1]*.
This survey aimed at investigating the technological infrastructure and its
associated challenges through the perspectives of the Global South
communities. We have just finished a draft proposal of the results and we
are extending an invitation to you and your esteemed community to
actively engage in its discussions.
While your organization may not have been directly involved in the survey
process, we believe that your insights and perspectives would be most
beneficial in shaping the discourse about technology in the Wikimedia
Movement. Therefore, *we urge you to take part in reviewing the drafted
document

sharing your comments, and offering suggestions where you deem necessary*.
We will compile and address all the comments and suggestions until April
16th.
If you would like, we also created a Telegram group
